Following the news that we were to select a VIAGlobal Global Prize winner at last week's Seedstars Summit Finals in Lausanne, Switzerland, we faced the difficult decision of having to choose just one company from an excellent field of startups. The solution... choose 2! Pictured below is our CEO, Julian Sevillano, together with Alberto Perez of UAE's Democrance (left) and Ricardo Chen, Min Chen and Orlando Reyes of Panama's Redoxigen (right). Both companies were awarded with 12-months of VIAGlobal’s Virtual Presence services in the U.S.
Seedstars, the largest global startup competition for Emerging Markets, asked Julian to be a judge at their startup competition in Panama City. The winner, RedOxigen, an augmented reality commerce platform, won a trip to the Seedstars regional summit in Buenos Aires and their global summit in Lausanne Switzerland, where they will compete with other local winners from five different continents for up to $1 Million in grants and investment. VIAGlobal is now a partner/mentor at Seedstars and we look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with them. More to come soon.
